广东外商投资企业协会（以下简称协会）经广东省人民政府批准于1988年8月18日成立，是具有法人地位的全省性社会团体。协会业务上接受中国外商投资企业协会、广东省商务厅、广东省民政厅的指导，下属有全省各市分会二十一家，经过三十多年的发展，已形成了较为完善的协会网络，从而形成了沟通与联络的渠道，进一步密切了协会与全省外商投资企业的联系。围绕着为外商服务这一宗旨，协会的影响力和凝聚力日益加强，现已有近万名会员，成为了全省最大的外商投资企业社团组织。
协会常设机构为秘书处，下设办公室、会员联络部、信息部。
协会由广东省境内经依法批准并在国家授权的工商行政管理机关注册的外商投资企业，港澳、台湾同胞和海外华裔投资企业，从事外商投资服务工作的机构和研发机构，外国企业在华从事投资业务的机构，以及有关社会人士自愿组成的全省性的非营利性社会团体。其宗旨是：遵照国家对外开放、鼓励外商投资的法律、法规和方针、政策，努力为会员和投资者提供各项配套服务，维护会员的合法权益；增强会员企业中外各方、企业与政府机构以及会员企业之间的联系、了解与合作；沟通信息，交流经验；促进外商投资企业在中国现代化建设事业和国际经济合作中发挥积极作用。
协会是外商投资企业联系政府机构的“桥梁”，经常开展与各级政府部门的直接对话，真实反映会员的意见和要求，帮助外商投资企业解决生产经营中的困难，维护外商投资企业的合法权益。协会又是外商投资企业互相联系的“纽带”，协会定期组织外商投资企业聚会联谊、交流信息，为外商投资企业提供人员培训及出境考察、产品展销及进出口政策法律咨询等多方面服务。协会也是传递信息的“窗口”，促进投资的参谋和助手，及时向会员和境外投资者介绍广东投资环境，各项政策、经济建设成就，投资鼓励产业，组织境外投资者来华参观考察投资招商等活动。
Introduction of The Guangdong Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment
The Guangdong Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, found in August 18th, 1988 with the approval of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, is a provincial social organization with the status as a legal person .The business of association is guided by China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment 、The Department of Foreign Trade And Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province、The Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province. It has 21 branches in different cities and countries in Guangdong Province . After nearly 34 year’s development, The network of the Association become perfect. The good way of communication has formed. It makes the connection between the association and Guangdong’s foreign-invested enterprises. Around the aim of serving foreign businessmen, the influence and consolidation of the Association become stronger and stronger. The Association has become the biggest province-wide organization for foreign-invested enterprises.
The standing body of the Association is the Secretariat consisting of Membership Dept, Information Dept, and an administrative office.
The Association is consisted by foreign-invested enterprises of Guangdong, according to the law, which are given approval and registered in the Industry and Business Administrative Organization authorized by nation, fellows from Hongkong, Macau, and Taiwan, the enterprises with investment of foreign citizen of Chinese origin, the institutions engaged in service for foreign investment and science research organization, the foreign enterprises’ institutions located in China which are engaged in the business of investment and provincial non-making profit social groups organized by relevant social people. The aim: in obedience to the laws and open door policies which encourage the foreign businessmen to invest, the organization does its best to provide the members and investors with different kinds of auxiliary service, protects the members legal rights; strengthen the contact, acquaintance and cooperation between the Chinese party and foreign party in the member enterprises, between the enterprises and government, between the member enterprises themselves; exchange the information and experiences; promotes the enterprises with foreign investment to play an active role in Chinese modernization and construction and international economic cooperation.
As a bridge between the government and foreign-invested enterprises, the Association often holds talks with the government, truly reflects the opinions and demands of the members, and helps to solve the problems of foreign-invested enterprise, protects their legal rights and interests. As a link between the foreign-invested enterprises, the Association regularly organizes different kinds of activities for foreign-invested enterprises such as information exchange, staff training, product exhibition and sales, law transmission, an advisor and a support for promoting investment. The Association promptly introduces to its members and foreign investors the investment environment in Guangdong province, various policies, economic achievements and hot spots for investment, enterprises of high potential and organizes business research for foreign investors.
